Hello, my name is Ellen Keyser and I own
EKDesigns, LLC I created my business as a direct result of
working with Real Estate Professionals for years and knowing the
needs that face them everyday to market their real estate
business. After working with a background in accounting and
marketing, moving to the internet world was an easy
transition and helping others make their business grow is
what gives me the greatest pleasure. This article was
placed in the paper to capture the attention of real estate
agents as well as other Professionals in need of a custom
web design. Let me show you the way!
Thank you for visiting my web site!

JEFFERSON
-- Ellen K. Keyser is looking for real estate professionals.
She operates EKDesigns, a full-service Web site design and hosting firm
that also offers search engine submissions, software and Web design
training.
Ms. Keyser, who works from her home at 3409 Livingston Drive, did
administrative management for a local real estate firm and said she has
the background to help Realtors design and maintain a customer-winning Web
site.

"They
have to be on the cutting edge or they lose customers," said Ms.
Keyser of real estate professionals. She can help link individual sites
with real estate offices and related businesses such as mortgage
companies.
She already has three mortgage companies as clients, as well as a
growing number of real estate professionals. "One of my customers,
Mike Baldwin, told me that within one week of setting up his Web page he
had a house under contract."
Ms. Keyser said a recurring problem with many of the Realtors' Web
sites is that they tend to look alike. "Each Realtor has a persona,
they need to bring that out."
So far she has received business by word of mouth. Some of her
customers include the J Bar W Ranch, a rodeo business, which won an award
for its Web page.
Ms. Keyser also did the Web page for Frederick city and the Frederick
Police Department. Her business includes services such as domain name
registration, which she said realtors should get and have on hand until
their Web page is up and running; consultations for businesses, monthly
maintenance, Internet training, computer software training and Office 2000
training. She also offers Windows 95 or 98 training, Microsoft Office 2000
applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher, FrontPage
98/2000 and QuickBooks Pro, upgrading present software and consulting on
the purchase of software or hardware.
"I can help a Realtor with the office computer and their home
computer, not only setting it up, but also training on the software and
how to update their Web page once it is set up," she said.
She said it is important to get the right Web page, with the right
image and the right links to related Web sites to make it more efficient
for customers, whether it be placing information in the right place or
keeping it updated.
What people have to say about EKDesigns....
As a novice in web page design, I
thought you might like to know how much I appreciate the
quality of your work. I first encountered your group while
visiting
http://www.cityoffrederick.com
in my continual effort to keep the MD Manual On-Line up to
date. Then, I decided to check you out at your web site
http://www.ekdesigns.com
I've had the unfortunate experience of looking at a number
of poorly designed web pages for a number of municipalities.
I found that whoever designed many of those URLs did a
disservice to those communities! I certainly
hope that the City of Frederick appreciates what you have
done!
